I've been reading about their lease-purchase and was curious about if there's anyone around that has experience with them?
Job searching in DFW isn't so hot right now, all LTL companies in my area aren't hiring and the ones that are require 1+ year of verifiable driving experience, trying my best to keep my head above water and whatnot but I still do have about a month of funds to coast off of before I have to find something.
Otherwise, does anyone know of any companies that are hiring in the DFW area? I know I asked this previously but, doesn't hurt to ask again hopefully for more visibility. I have all of my endorsements, with 7 months of verifiable experience. Clean MVR.
I wouldn't mind going over the road through the week and home weekends, I am used to LTL, as far as Superego, if that becomes an option or something that is reasonable in the future I wouldn't mind being out 14 and home 3-4 days.
Anyway, I'd love some feedback and appriciate you guys.
Thanks,
Is anyone familiar with Superego?

Look elsewhere not in the direction of "super "nogo" not ego". A friend I know very well tried it for less than 3 weeks and you might as well be a company driver actually a company driver does better. Don't discount the wisdom that is being given to you. Move on nothing to see there.
I'm not from the DFW but I been running around America for a while now. Don't get fooled by those hustler you're are paying for them to be in business and making less than a good company driver. Get with a good company and build from there.
Apply to every company that fits for what you are looking for. Let them tell you "no" don't sell yourself short. All the best to you on your journey.austinmike Thanks this. -
I haven't heard anything. I'll ask my Id to see if he has.

The only thing I know about Super Ego is that I see them on Bonehead Truckers periodically.

If you want otr and home weekends, you may want to consider a flatbed outfit. Being in Texas, I could imagine that's easy to do...I'd even think about JB Hunt. I know someone that went there on a dedicated account and she even learned to do some flatbedding. The longest she's stayed out I believe is 10 days. She need a job that would allow her to be home enough for her to take care of her dad

Just got off the phone with a Yellow recruiter, sounds like a good gig to me. 60CPM- 31CPM Team & Health Insurance paid for. Solos are out for 2-5 days and teams are out for 5-6, with 48 hours off.
I did some more research on SuperEgo - definitely not something i'm going to go for, it's a little hard to walk away from LTL to begin with but, I have no knowledge of how to run my own business, maybe I can take some community college courses and see if having my own business is something I would be interested in, and talk to some O/O's and get some more insider opinions.
Anyone here working for Yellow? The Irving terminal is the one I believe I will be working at, recruiter offered me the job on the spot essentially, just needs the application to be filled out and sent his way, red flag or, just luck of the draw?
Thanks, -
Look in the Bad Companies forum. There's several posts.
Yellow is a good company and a good place to start.
Good luckKaida-LTL Thanks this. -

LOL. Please learn how to use the search function here. We wouldn’t recommend them to our enemies.
