Is freight really the slowest in 20 years??

Was there ever a lot of freight in Montana? lol
I will say freight is NOT the slowest it has been in 20 years or you would be parked.
We are hammered here, but I hear it has slowed down south, but it always does at times.

 

The economy was artificially inflated . Investor confidence was high and with talks of Tariffs looming companies ordered all they could to stock the warehouses. Oil patch slowed a bit and Tariffs kicked in as well . These larger trucking companies are spilling into the spot market trying to keep trucks moving and driving rates down . With an abundance of trucks introduced into the market place rates are stagnant.

 

No kidding. Used to love to stop in Haugan at that Lincoln $50,000 place, but could never make a call or have any internet with AT&T out there. Spent the night in the motel once and with no phone service it sucked. Never parked there again which was unfortunate

 

And of all the years I spent hauling and picking up out west, I never once picked up a load in Montana with any company. Picked up a ton in Idaho, Washington, even picked up a couple in Wyoming. So the statement about not having a lot of freight in Montana might be true.

 

I did a 34 at the $50,000 casino. I thought I had cell service with Vzw. I'm sure I would have remembered having no service.
