They called me as well, then the TM ghosted me. Then they pulled the jobs I had applied for and been approved for. Likely because freight is slow. I hope it goes better where you are.
Is it hard to get into get into the LTL side of trucking?

According to @KaoMinerva ’s thread on Estes in the Favorite section, Estes is slow all over.
Odd... I’ve been busy as all hell for weeks.Texas_hwy_287 and RookieJ1987 Thank this. -
Seems hit or miss on day of the week and location. I've missed a day this week. But I had 580 mile days rest. Moved off my 10. -
I did 680+ yesterday. It's slow in our region because of Nashville & Joliet. All the freight is being rerouted through them. That screws over Memphis, ATL, etc.

Wow . Looking at these comments (all which are very great advice from some of the most experienced drivers on here), I can honestly say I must have lucked out.
Not only did I have zero LTL experience, but I literally had zero commercial experience and was a recent CDL grad from a school.
Good fortunes come to those that applyBob Dobalina and RookieJ1987 Thank this. -

Word I got from an old AZ Estes hand is that Tucson always had trouble keeping TMs. Driver run terminal and all the border BS so they bail.
Guy who called was from San Diego barn. Said he had a lot of "reqs" to fill.
Thanks for taking time to type that, helps make it less personal. One thing I'll tell anyone is don't trust the hiring process out there.USMC 3531 Thanks this. -
speedyk Thanks this.

Yeah that guy is full of it. I didn't even bother calling back off the vibe they gave me. I run the board to stay away from ####### like him.
speedyk, USMC 3531 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.
