Is it just me or are young adults under the age of 25 just plain lazy?

Working at a place that only hires the dregs of society? i.e. rich kids
I am reminded of a thread that was "poor, 36, no life skills"
Its an interesting question, how do you get to be an adult when you have not been allowed to work till 18+. Locked in the house with a phone or internet as your only interaction because "strangers are scary" and mommy and or daddy bulldoze everything hard out of the way.misterG, The_vett, shooter19802003 and 16 others Thank this. -
Why work 70 hours a week around the clock when you can sit in mom's basement smoke pot, play video games and get fed.
I am jealous.misterG, The_vett, snowlauncher and 13 others Thank this. -

Then you burry her in the yard and keep collecting her social security check.

I can't recall a time when anyone was impressed with the work ethic of the newest generation to enter the workforce. The Bible doesn't even have anything to say about Jesus between the ages of 12 and 30. I suspect it's been that way since before we lived in caves.

It's not just you, but it's not just rich kids or kids at all that are the problem.
Boomers can't claim superiority. Phones are just the new LSD.
Boomers grew up in the wealthiest time in history, paid for their college, cars, and houses on entry-level jobs, and now snub their offspring for being unable to do so as well.
The parents of boomers endured the Great Depression and taught their kids that hard work, education, and saving money pays off. Then the boomers lavished in the economy their parents slaved for and assumed their wealth was exclusively the result of their own efforts. Most of them are every bit, if not more, pampered than gens Y and Z. Their excessively narcissistic individualism shines through clearest in their divorce rate and penchant for RVs.
Bad times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak men create bad times.
The good times are on a downhill slide, and the heyday of weak men is about to come to a grinding halt.
