Plenty of real estate experts are expecting this housing bubble to bust in 2022. Zillow, one of the online real estate whiz kids with a massive position in the housing market is already almost out of business. Reventure Consulting has YouTube channel where all he does is show you the graphs and give commentary. There is nothing for sale, no home-study package, nothing. This housing bubble, when it breaks, will make the one of 2008-2012 look like a minor inconvenience. This market has been taken over with investors. They've accelerated the rise in prices, driven out conventional buyers. In some markets, and all of the hot markets, investors account for over 50% of all home sales. The investors are tuned into the same sources so when the trouble starts they all are going to flee housing like someone turning off a light switch.
Is it just me or are young adults under the age of 25 just plain lazy?

I went to college and got my degrees. I worked in my field for 2 years before I was a few days away from going bankrupt and having my beater car impounded by the police. All going to college did for me was give me 6 years of halfheartedly studying while working 3 part-time jobs, and $20-somehitng thousands of dollars in school debt. I would have been in trucking 2-3 years earlier and 2-3 year's income richer had I ignored college.
College is only something useful if it's necessary for your job. The colleges will always find a program you can study at their school. Oh, you like horses, be a vet technician. You like cooking, oh try our Culinary Arts. You like staring at your ceiling, try our Architectural History. You don't ask the barber if you need a haircut and your don't ask your college if you should go to college. Just because some college somewhere has a program related to your hobby or fantasy doesn't mean a college degree will give you any benefit. If the job you want requires a degree, get that degree otherwise you are just wasting time and signing up for the worst possible debt you can chain around your neck. Ask the employers. Many of them see new-hires with degrees that are hardly qualified to sort mail or answer a phone.shooter19802003, xlsdraw, Gearjammin' Penguin and 8 others Thank this. -

Mines, and mills. Doesn't matter if its a pulp mill or saw mill, if you want to see how you make a 20 minute job, take up an entire shift, just look around for an old guy, and observe. They can do nothing all day long, better than any young person who is working at the same mill or mine. I spend a lot of time hauling into mills and mines, see it often.shooter19802003, Sirscrapntruckalot, Gatordude and 6 others Thank this. -

Working just for the sake of working is only good for the business owner, terrible for the employees.
My question would be about home time, vacation time, and more.
Who gives a #### if you work hard, and make $250,000 a year, if you never get time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.shooter19802003, Trucker61016, brsims and 8 others Thank this. -
