I keep a you tube myself, a tiny little corner somewhere in netland. The comments are also disabled because I don't need to deal with it among other selections within the system of options in google. Many things are disabled to keep some form of limits on the content that they could push all over the place.

I also give thanks in my time there was no cameras worthy of note nor there was a you tube. We did have chat forums which were really good in their time. Ancient by today's standards (Facebook, twitter etc all of which I eventually discarded as divisive and destructive)

If TTR was around in my time I would be posting, I am late again, what do I do. Heh.

Hands down, one of the most hilarious videos I’ve ever seen.

    Any parodies?

Those dudes get so many clicks from drivers on here clowning... they probably are highly rated on YouTube. I’ve personally sent that video to several friends and they then sent it out too. Ridiculous!

Companies have been advertising "new pay plans" since the Hoover Administration. E-logs are like global warming, a convenient excuse for EVERYTHING.

Trucker pay was stagnant for at least a decade until a few years ago. That is when Swift raised driver pay.
No incentives or tax breaks; Swift just decided to do it.

Then everyone had to as a result.
Once Swift announced it I started hearing and reading about all the other companies that were doing it.

The next year Swift did the same thing again, and everyone followed again.
I found it rather funny at the time, that the most hated 'bottom feeder' company was now being the leader in raising driver pay throughout the industry.

The Trump tax plan has had some positive results, from what I have heard.
Many companies are giving out increased pay and bonuses because of it. Many power companies are kicking the savings back to their customers, to lower power bills.
No word from Swift yet about how they will use that extra money. One can hope, though.

And while many complain about e-logs...
If you were running legal before, it will not change a thing.
All e-logs did for me was make things easier for me.

If you were not running legal before, I'm glad that you will be held accountable for your time now.

So we need Swift to give us all a pay raise.

So true... you can make 75c mile, but if you only get 1500 miles a week and SIT SIT SIT... it's worthless.

    I gotta move.
I'd much rather have 50c and paid for everything I do... and kept moving.

I picked up a load yesterday for a delayed team truck, company paid me mileage plus $100 to help them out.
Guess what happens next time they need a favor?

Swift is one of the lowest paying companies with a massive driver turnover to go with it. They probably only raised pay because if they didn't the company would no longer function at potential. Don't take my word for just listen to their 3Q earnings call.
