What's more fun ? driving off a dock or falling thru the floor on an old trailer ?
NavigatorWife, QuietStorm and bzinger Thank this. -
In my career, I have seen forklifts in trailers as they are moved. I have seen forklifts fall off docks. I think the hardest I have ever laughed was one day in Atlanta a forklift driver had a bad case of the runs, decided to drive the forklift all the way across the dock, was going so fast he could not get stopped in time. Yes, he took out the restroom and it was occupied at the time. To this day I have no idea what happened to the guy, that day I know for a fact he had to change his diaper. A while before I retired a remember watching a restroom go up in flames, yes, somebody lit too much TP on fire and it caught the trashcan on fire. The Lakeland Florida FD had to come out.

A couple weeks ago a forklift driver unloaded my trailer and wasn't wearing a mask. I still lay awake at night traumatized by that.
Cowboyrich, Dockbumper, RocketScott and 2 others Thank this. -

I still don't know for sure if those chains across dock doors are OSHA or insurance requirements, but they're not MEANT to "stop a forklift".
They're there to "Raise Awareness" of the big-### HOLE in the wall........Cowboyrich and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
