To anyone that wants to use the plastic lines, Phillips makes an Arctic grade set. Found them by accident while replacing on a fleet I was in charge of. Oilfield trucks and ISO tankers. I switched to rubber lines and they we’re getting ripped off almost daily but the regular plastic was breaking often too. These held up.

you have another bar above apu condenser. Id run spring/holder to it and it will hold your lines off of catwalk.

The only thing in Texas that is a bigger red flag is license plate light out, or missing mud flap on the trailer.

Flapping in the wind mud flaps will get you pulled over in Texas.

And the dude never said a thing about not having anything to keep them from flapping.

Yet. Most of the locals have nothing to keep theirs from flapping.

Once you get it set where it looks good, test it out. You’ll want to be able to spin your truck around right or left without tearing everything up.

Just a hard lesson I learned a few years ago :)

Lines can’t touch the catwalk but since they’re wrapped they aren’t touching. No different than all the other places plastic hoses cross over a frame member. Manufacturer has them wrapped for protection. I run a swivel bar from above the vault and 2 springs and no matter what I do part is on the catwalk. DOT says wrapped lines can be on the catwalk, however the wrap on OP’s picture looks a little loose. On mine you can’t see any lines where it touches the catwalk. The wrap is solid there.

I was told in my area as long as it was wrapped in plastic sheathing it was ok to lay on the deck. That's in Ontario Canada. Your results may vary depending on location lol.

Lets not forget the reflective tape on the mud flap hanger.
Damaged ICC bumper on trailer is the new revenue source down around Houston.
