They won't use that as an excuse, they'll find something else plausible to deny your application, but that doesn't change the fact that most of them just don't want to take a chance. -
I generally shut up around anyone other than my family doctor. I dare the company DOT medical examiner to find anything wrong with me. With No on everything medical long form. Even though there is a thousand issues. Plus a new joint that squeaks when moved a certain direction. HA... -
I know this is a few months old, but I have rheumatoid arthritis and looking to start cdl class soon. My admin said get a medical release from my rheumatologist and I should be fine. My rheumatologist said I never gave a medical limitation so there is no medical release. I take a biologic and prednisone. Neither are narcotics. I can perform all functions with no limits to movement. Does that disqualify me for dot cdl?
Gambosa Thanks this. -
Don't see why it would, I've been on Humira and Methotrexate for years, never any problems.
Gambosa and Jgraves1107 Thank this. -

I listed the meds. Only 1 time has any of them said anything. That guy climbed on his high horse about only giving me a 6 month card because of my meds. When I told him it was no big deal to me since company pays for exam he all the sudden gave me a 2 year card like I have always had.
