Is it possible to park from this position?

if he was smart, it's probably something less than 90.. but I'm guessing from the angle of the tractor to the line of truck noses, that it was a 90 degree back

As to whether he can make it.. I'd say yes -may depend on his trailer tandems, though. And he needs to start reversing his pivot pretty soon.

 

I would also say, yes. The angle he's at, the trailer will move left to right. The trailer won't go back into that truck. Once he gets in the whole he can pull up and get straight. If he can't get that, all he would have to do the same thing except two or three feet further past his hole. He has cleared the silver truck with room to shave. That's were the two or three feet past the whole comes in.

 

Yeah its going to be tight but he will make it. This is the norm for most truck stops anyway at nigh they are packed. Learn to handle it

I grew up near a decent-sized glass manufacturing plant, and I used to love to go watch the big trucks back up to the docks. It always amazes how you folk can get back a trailer into a place with only inches (or so it seems) to spare on either side. And ya'll make it look so easy, too...

 

It's as easy as whittling an animal.. just cut away everything that doesn't look like the critter. Same here - just don't put the trailer in a spot that doesn't look like a hole


(not that I've ever had to angle back... I've seen it done, but it's not part of teh CDL test - though parallel parking is. go figure)

In this position, he would have to keep his wheels straight. Once he gets jacked around with his truck almost touching his trailer, then he would start to follow it around. It looks like he could jack it around enough to get to the whole to pull forward or keep jacking it around until his trailer clears the blue truck to follow it. I would be will to bet he will have to pull up at leased once.
