I don't know if you can live in the truck on those Dollar accounts. Better ask about that.austinmike and Chi Town Steers Thank this.

I wouldn’t mind getting hotels on the weekends. Would be nice to get out of the truck actually. Good to keep in mind tho.

You think?
You can't be a part-time professional with a few months of working.
You put in 10,000 hours of drive time, you are a professional.
Not 300 ...austinmike, 77fib77, lual and 1 other person Thank this. -
You mean, you don’t want me to do it. Of course I can be a part time professional. I could just buy a truck and work as much or as little as I’d like to.
-
Goodluck with that. Just go out and buy one with 4 months experience and let me know how that works outaustinmike, lual and Chi Town Steers Thank this.
-
I didn’t say it was a good idea, but thanks for chiming in. Lots of salty truck drivers out there huh
-
With you taking that time off with only 3 months experience, most companies will consider you a new driver and send you back out with a trainer again. If you can find a company the would hire you.austinmike, bryan21384 and Chi Town Steers Thank this.

Here’s my sales pitch for all the kids. I make almost $30,000 a year and I only work 60 hours a week for it. Plus sometimes I get to go home! Like almost once a month!
-
That’s reasonable, but why would they not hire me?
