what company are you with? Most of the companies are installing them. I highly recommend them. Kept my tail out of prison by having one in the Fire Engine I was driving

Falcon Zero F170 HD +. Great cam and does audio. Got me out of a ticket when a 4 wheeler cut me off and hit me. Tried to blame me. Showed cop on scene and he told other driver it was his fault. $150. Had it a year, no problems. The audio picks up everything too. Just don't install the GPS that comes with it for speed and location. They don't need to see everything. It comes with a 64gb ad card if I remember. Love mine

Thank you. Does companies care if you have a dash cam because I would think that they would get very upset with you if you cause an accident and had it on the dash cam.

Couldn't imagine they would...If you are involved in a crash and CAN prove YOU were NOT at Fault, saves them money. Dash cams are useful for other things as well, not just accident mitigation.

    Don't buy a $20 Walmart Cam.

I also would never consider a GPS/Dashcam in one.

    Don't cause an accident.

If it is your own dashcam and your own evidence showed you at fault, easy enough to delete the evidence and take the dashcam out of the windshied before anyone noticed you had one.

My opinion, they are absolutely worth having. If for nothing else than documenting incredible things you see.

I have a smartwitness on my truck real fancy and real expensive but my driver loves it cuz it's a two position camera out front and on the right side of truck looking back and if something happens i have full access from my phone that i can download and send the footage right away. also make sure you get one with a built in G sensor that way it can automatically record and store any events. Absolutely a must to have i have drivers coming to my shop in a daily basis telling me stories and showing me videos of how the camera saved their ###. Again Absolute must in my opinion.

Never heard of a company objecting to it but I can see why they would.

If you get one set it and forget it. Way too many out there seemingly trying to get their you tube moment.
