I find it hilarious how all the "Old timer's" advice is to "Suck it up, take it, and be grateful."

I bet you morons have done just that throughout your career's and now all you have is a mediocre existence and this message board for stress relief.

I already hired on with another company and got a raise in the process. So, instead of taking lame ### advice from guys who haunt boards for no other reason than to lord their pathetic lives over the "Newbs" who come on here asking questions, I got out of my situation clean, and with more money to boot.

So thanks for opening my eyes to the folly of asking "Internet Super-Truckers" advice, because if I had took it I'd still be getting screwed and that's just not worth being in your little click.

So long, have fun in your little echo chamber.

Bahahaha, so you’re answer was to quit. Feelings hurt much?

Is the new company paying you to and from work also?

All of us in the echo chamber are dying to know.

Nice story. #####ing on a board how pathetic people are for #####ing on a board.......

As to your original question if your home was in route back yes you should be paid even if 20-30 miles out of way. If you are driving a 100 miles out then no it is a perk to have have to burn your fuel.

I think you have missed your calling though. NASA could sure use a guy like you that knows everything. They have been trying to figure out the entire manned mission to Mars thing for a while.

Morons? You were the one driving 2500 unpaid miles a month. In fact we couldn't even figure out who the bigger moron was, you or the company allowing you to do it in their equipment.

Yeah we shall see how long this second job lasts. I’m sure you’ll be in another situation, with more questions to bring to us “morons”. Or you’ll just quit that job and continue the cycle. Either way, get back to us so we have some form of entertainment on your behalf. o_O

loose_leafs, SteerTire and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Notice he didn’t say how far he had to drive for new job. Or if that increase in pay would cover the cost of his gas lol

He may have just taken a cut in pay ;)

    loose_leafs, Dave_in_AZ and LoSt_AgAiN Thank this.
