I just needed $50 to get me home so I paid for the diesel and went to pump it.
Well it was only counting penny's to get to $50. So I went back inside.

I said the pump must be out, it's counting penny's. Cashier said, just release the trigger and try it again.
I said I already did that. She said try it again. So I did and it was still counting penny's.

After waiting 15 minutes I finally got $50.
Then I grabbed 2 plastic bags and covered up each pump.

Used to happen to me sometimes, if you release the trigger and wait it sometimes picks up prime and pumps at full flow.

Ivoca, IA FJ annoyed me last week - shut off after 12 gallons. I’d unhooked from my wide load and bob tailed to get the fuel.

They acted like I was a pest - so I took my money elsewhere.

Matthews MO FJ the same a few weeks back.

If you can’t efficiently sell diesel fuel at a truck stop you may as well close the doors.

Try an hour to get 25 gallons that you prepaid and the ***** ****** won't refund.

There was some problems at the Pilot on I69 up in Port Huron a few years back, in the middle of summer all the pumps were very very very slow.

Pumps are configured to do a leak test before they start dispensing fuel. If they fail the leak test, they run on minimum power.

Shutting the handle off and waiting allows the pump to do another leak test, but only if every other pump on that circuit is also shut off at the same time (if there's more than one pump on the circuit).

At the small truck stop I fuel at the pumps do that every now and then, not often. The guy came out once and showed me a little trick when it happens. All he did was squeeze the trigger a few times real quick and then stopped and did it again until the pump ran normal.

I know of a couple of places that do that.

Both places claim software issues. 1 has problems in the winter. The other has problems in the summer.

Usually vapor lock in summertime. Used to squirt water hose on old pumps to make them work. Winter time, I worry about water filled filters on the pumps themselves, or a slow pump being caused by their tanks being low, and getting water.Slow pumps- bad very bad!!
