Issue with my company, will this count as a service failure?

You know what else is unprofessional? Requiring an employee to work in dirty, nasty, smelly trucks.
Also could be illegal in some states, think osha rules.

Oh silly you, thinking osha is about actual safety. Betcha think unions are primarily about safety and workers wages too.

Dont get me wrong, good starting ideals, but that is NOT what they end up being about

    bryan21384 and ZVar Thank this.

Two of the three places I've worked that was the way things got handled. That's the way it's done at my current job. We have a mutual agreement that we can call and scream at each other as needed. And we get along just fine. It works because I don't worry about him 'putting it in the file', because there is no such file. We deal with our issues and move on.

    baha Thanks this.

Don't care what the office guy says.
    I drive the truck.
Besides there is a driver shortage.

I don't disagree one bit. Sometimes for me, it's just easier to solve the problem myself and keep it moving.

Take YOUR truck, try to deliver, if it breaks down it's on them.

SNBC sucks. It’s an excellent place to get into bulk as a new driver and that’s its niche. Low pay and conditions comparable to Quality Carriers or Heniff. A quarter of their trailers fail a detailed inspection (don’t get me started on tractors) and emergency maintenance was constantly attempting to put me in dangerous situations. And my DBL asked me to violate HOS on several occasions. But you do have stop work authority… but it’s also basically stop pay authority because they try to rush you to chase the breadcrumb trail of poverty. And they loaned out my tractor right before I was planning my resignation notice and the driver crashed it.

You had a bad dbl I guess, I had 12 years otr experience when I went to tankers at Schneider, then went to a company owned by QC, way before Heniff took over.

I used to carry a broom , gal of windshield fluid , windex and beach towels from Goodwill.
Sometimes you just got to suck it up , but dont leave a load , kiss of death for your future.
Some Megas haul for free if the load is late.
