When I was hired, Walmart wouldn’t even look at you with your two years at Schneider. It was a much better time before the rookies came here and the company went downhill.
Clearly you didnt get wiser with age. The company went downhill long before i got here when they hired 40+ boys who have nothing better to do with their time. I've accomplished in less than 5 years what took you more than 15. Time to get better at something else, kid. Keep rolling.
You worked at Schneider and came here? Big round of applause kid. Glad trucking got you off the docks.
If you are so miserable, and think so low of the company, why are you still here? Heed your own advice, or are you one of the drivers that quit and then came back under new payscale and are bitter about it.
Worry about your own life driver, I’m just here to warn others to not come to this place. Enjoy the downfall.
So what specifically are you warning about? Specifically, not just "I am a miserable ##### that hates life here".
I don't understand the infighting amongst some of you guys. The paychecks still cash right? If you think the morale is bad wait till those getting less pay for the same work chime in. I understand the loyalty to a long term provider/employer but as someone who went thru this twice in a career, I'd tell you to hang on and enjoy the ride till the wheels come off. One of our guys left to work there 6 yrs ago and he's not too keen on the changes but like he said, what can ya do. Even an outsider in the transportation biz can see the changes. I see it evolving like the old Schneider union workforce, forcing out the senior ones and reducing the number of company drivers and increasing carriers. I think in the future all drivers employed by WM will be under the same payscale. JMHO
