Their instructors did very little instructing & it was often up to us to figure out what we were supposed to be doing..... I think my entire class was a little disappointed in the training we received. I would have posted sooner but headed from their school straight to another school

 

Yes, but the rest of the training is OJT with a trainer, not solo. That's a good deal. The man that owns the company knows what he's doing; been doing it for decades. One week in a classroom and the rest in a truck classroom. Go for it.

 

Some of their lease drivers are making pretty good bank, but, if I decide to go that route with any company, it will be well into the future

 

Yeah, but they sent me home before I made it that far :’(

 

Try to attend a private cdl school; maybe the state will pay for it through the WIOA Program.
Here's an Oklahoma company that will probably hire you from a private cdl school. Those hotshot trucks are interesting; hauling supplies to the oil fields all over the country.

A guy who lives in Yukon had suggested I do that. I will definitely give it some serious thought. Thank you for all your excellent advice! I am currently considering Swift, again lol
