Wasn't me either. I'm sitting here at the TA here in Council Bluffs, IA. I deliver Monday morning at the Walmart DC in Auburn, IN. I had rabbits chasing this load all the way. Couldn't shake em, for some reason! Must be able to smell the carrots! LOL. jk jk!

Wasn't me either. I'm at home until Tuesday... I used uber to take me to a bar last night, and the uber driver was slipping and sliding all over the road. It was a mess out there. My dad told me my little sister slid off the road last night and totaled her car, she is okay fortunately.

Coming out of the house tomorrow. Got my preplan a few hours ago. Heading to Lakewood, NJ for a live load that's going to Harrisonville, Missouri, drop & hook at final. Great run to come out of the house with.

I just finished reading this thread and when I get to the end of the thread is when I found out that VA is not in the hiring area. I guess not enough freight in this area. I was looking at the l/p but the thread is a good read though.

Cleaning out my truck, it's been cool....sorta. So far this year I've lost 300-400 dollars per week in pay since my dispatcher got promoted. I never took home over 850 again, and I tried to make it work with two new dispatchers. Take care. You guys can post your experience or miles and take this over. As for me I'm done. Be safe.

With this company, I've never hauled a load to or from Virginia, but depending on how close you live to 81 85 or 95, they may give you a shot pulling a reefer.

All of the drivers start at 36¢ per mile. Depending on where you live in Ohio, running through the house during the week and being home on weekends is very likely.

Hey man, it's been real. Keep us updated on your next adventure! Good luck!

I live around the Roanoke VA area. Come to think of it I have only seen very few J&R trucks on 81 so I do not think it would be easy to get me home.

Good morning everyone. Delivered my Harrisonville load yesterday afternoon, got to play a fun game of drop & search for an empty trailer, only found 3 of our trailers which were loaded inbound... D'oh! But then my luck changed. I found a 4th, hidden away from the rest of them. It was empty, but It was tagged up for a flat tire, which I'm assuming some ignoramus dropped the trailer like this... yet when I pre-tripped the trailer, the tires all held air just fine. So I walk up to the shipping office and inquire about it, and they told me that someone fixed it today..... Well they did a pretty lousy job since I woke up to a flat tire this morning. Idiots. Good thing I spent the night at T/A in Troy, IL so I didn't have to drive anywhere to repair it. I've been in the service bay for a good half hour now and they should be done soon. Then I can finally continue my 355 mile deadhead to Decatur, IL for a load that I am told to t call at the Tomah yard.... Just another day in paradise!

I am hitting the Jackpot, in my opinion. Heading out on my second load to California in two weeks. This time I'm going to the San Diego area. Trip pays 1900+ miles, plus detention pay because my "preloaded" trailer didn't exist here at Michael's foods here in Gaylord, MN. Been sitting here since 9:30. Got a dock at 12:30. Still sitting here waiting on them to come out and tell me they're done making me wait. I hope it's 8 hours so I can get $80 for it. I slept here last night, so I have fresh hours, but am getting tired from sitting here all day. I hope I can make it to at least Wichita today, but I highly doubt it. I'm lucky if I make it to Omaha.
