    I was just offered a local independent contractor position out of Memphis Intermodal...M-F 5am til done, 1000 miles a week and $2308 a week gross....anyone know anything about this and how stringent are they on the DOT inspections for non-company owned leased trucks?? Orientation is supposed to be held in Little Rock!! Kinda sounds too good to be true to me!! Anyone heard about this said only 4 positions are being offered?

    1000 miles a week is low, But I guess if its local it isn't horrible.
