That’s right. Texas has VERY high property taxes.

I lived in Florida (also no state income tax) for almost 15 years (loved it) and the taxes there were a lot cheaper than Texas.

 

I lived in Florida for several years and no complaints. Wish I was there now.

Another state to consider is Alabama. Very low property taxes if you're going to buy a place. But, wasn't the subject about just where to list an address? If purchasing property isn't in the equation then TX or FL would be good choices. The idea is to increase income and decrease thievery by the government. Of course, I could be wrong since I haven't finished my first cup of coffee.
