I'm parked at Johnson's Corner tonight. I never thought I'd say this, but I REALLY hope that Petro is waiting for the restaurant's lease to run out so they can turn it into a Iron Skillet. Either that or put in a Taco Hell or something, anything but the crap hole that's here now. I walked in, looked around, and just got a wrap out of the deli fridge. lol
Also, why does Petro and TA stripe their parking backwards, forcing you to blind side into the spot?
Anyway, small potatoes, but I really wish I would've stuck to my original plan and just pulled up in Cheyenne at the Loves or Flying J (not a TA/Petro fan).

You'd be in the minority on that one. Johnson's Corner has good food, and the bakery is incredible. Should have given it a shot. Asian massage parlor in back of the motel right across the street too

Never ever park at Longmont , that way they'll be parking for me.
cnsper, fargonaz and Frank Speak Thank this. -

You are in the minority with Johnny's you go upstairs and have them serve you food to order. It;s good and fresh. It's one of those truckstops that have done well since they were founded long ago. It's also very famous having been in at least one major film. I think Bill Murray wrestled with a Elephant once there in a scene related to the phone booth.
Compared to the denver area stops (There is a little one across from the airport, a cookie to anyone who knows that one...) Johnny's is where you want to park and eat. It's exactly halfway between Denver and Cheyenne. -
I'll have to take your word for it regarding the bakery. I don't eat pies and cakes, etc...
And, we'll have to agree to disagree about the restaurant's food.

You should have, next door to the ConocoPhillips is a bar, cheap drinks, good food and cherries soaked in 5 different types of alcohol, And always something good on tv, if you like old cars.
Plus the liquor store next door.
And the Conoco has a great breakfast burrito.fargonaz and Frank Speak Thank this. -

@Drpparker95 - cool place that Johnson's Corner Truck Stop.
On another note; I wish Carl's Corner was still owned by Willie Nelson.
