Just got my CDL A Certification, where would be a good start for a rookie driver?

Someone just posted that USA Truck does urine test.
USA Truck has a program where after you work there 6 mos, you can choose your loads and run where you want to.

Go for jobs you don't think you'll qualify for. People willing to work are in short supply and companies are hiring those they used to turn away.
Good luck and remember that random drug tests happen, well randomly. You could not be called in for a year or you may get one every month. Ya just don't know.

 

If you want great training, go to Stevens Transport out of Dallas. The pay is GARBAGE and you have to fight for every last dollar, but you will learn a ton. If you can make it through 1 year there, you'll be good to go pretty much anywhere.

 

I am looking for a great company. Please give me your work background, do you work for them, what do you say about all the negative things out there about them? Please give details, like schooling how good and cost is it fair or right. Time home,

I pull a dry van. No desire to pull a flatbed or reefer. Everybody has their preferences.
