Just out of curiosity, if you were on the road for Christmas...

For the record....I wasn't "out stuck on the road" somewhere.

I knew I had to leave Christmas Day, and deliver to a store on Monday.

So, since I was home on the weekend (just like every weekend), we just had our daughter open her gifts on Saturday nite.

Still was able to enjoy "that moment"!!

I disagree. You said you had to leave Xmas day. That implies that you were working during the holidays. Weekend or not, you apparently didn't have the luxury of not work the holiday.

I was just wondering because I've thought about it, and I thought you were (IIRC) driving for Poly.

My thoughts exactly, but I just took a run that will have me out over New Years for the first time in about 12 yrs. I'm already dreading it but this year was a little off from the years past.

I was rewarded with miles and long hold times, being bounced from terminal go terminal go get answers and a decent first check.

    I pull for Swift.
