Serious answer - that’s pretty neat. Good information for any one younger than her of either sex, that has an excuse for not working.

Several of my pilot car drivers I regularly use are in their 60’s and 70’s - heck - Johnny was a Vietnam vet with one glass eye that rode as hard as I would without complaining until the ‘Rona got him last year.

Belinda is up on 70 and only informed me at the end of the last 570 mile day run that she’s been having terrible intestinal issues and can only handle day runs anymore.

Hats off. Hope I fare as well in 20 years time.

Granny here would probably outdrive 95% of us here on the road. Probably knows more about securing loads then most do their own ###.
That said I hope she’s doing it because she wants to, not because she has to.

some "old timers" just want to keep working. now, i retired after 48 years, but could have gone many, many more, but i am sick and tired of the BS, the steering wheel holders, and other stupidity by many drivers of trucks these past couple of decades, plus the truck stops doing away with the buffet table, and a real restaurant rather than a fast food place.

also got sick and tired of the unprofessionally dressed drivers. not saying one has to wear a tuxedo, or a 3 piece suit, but for crying out loud, maybe a CLEAN pair of jeans, NO RIPS, and work shoes or boots, then either A CLEAN TY-Shirt, or work shirt.

but we are all individuals, but does that mean so-called drivers need to be rude, careless, dirty, smelly..???

i had had enough, but "granny" i believe is driving cuz she wants to. maybe she has no surviving family? so why stay at home on the front porch, or a nursing home..???

yeah, i'll bet dollars to donuts that old broad can out drive, out tarp, anyone here, and that even includes you guys THAT ARE PROFESSIONALS...!!!!

    "go granny go"........!!!!!!!:D:D:p:D:D
