What holidays are excluded from that counter, if any? I'd assume they're empathetic enough to exclude Thanksgiving and Christmas from that 8 week counter.
Besides that, there a lot of drivers that are crazy enough (me) to do 6-8 weeks out. I think my longest stint was 11. I think the real catch is how 'optional' it is. 6-8 weeks knowing I can go home whenever I'm ready? No problem. Knowing I am REQUIRED to do 8 weeks out once I leave home? Sounds miserable, if it's strictly enforced.Lonesome, Hammer166, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -

I just searched K&B Transportation on the TTR. this company has more threads in the bad company section than in the Good company section.
I hope they have changed because some of the older threads paints this company as worst company ever.bzinger, Opus, Still undecided and 1 other person Thank this. -

Having to clean out the truck, finding some place for all your stuff, flying home and back, and moving into a new truck...does that count as work time or does it come off of your 10 days at home? -

It actually doesn't sound like a bad deal to me. 8 weeks and you're grossing 1900 to 2100 weekly with a minimum 1700 weekly guarantee makes it worth it in my view. Even if you don't do the 8 weeks and you can gross 1500 weekly guaranteed is still really good. I like the idea of 10 days off and still getting paid.
It feels like they are solving a lot of the gripes that drivers have, you're getting paid very well to be away from home for so many weeks, giving adequate hometime while still getting paid, and it looks like the lone OTR company that can legitimately pay close to 6 figures.
