Cuz that 55 cpm mile . Surely that's not the actual pay

 

that’s the OTR 3 axle pay — 0.55/mile base

 

Any bonuses ? That seems a little low ?

 

its on par with just about every equipment transport company I spoke with before I started here.

 

What’s the orientation process for someone who has flatbed experience only no lowbed? They did say they’d take me on but it would be a year at least before I did anything of any size (think beam) . Which I was fine with…..starting small and working my way up…..

 

Monday thru Thursday, sometimes Friday.

The “record” is 6 months from flatbed experience only to a four-axle truck dragging a beam. But he was a special case. Doesn’t mean you have to move that fast nor will you. You’ll get to move some bigger machines on just a five or six axle setup…. We have many drivers that are just happy in a three axle and have no desire to go bigger.

I was moving machines on a mechanical neck lowboy within my first month. “Heavy” in my first three.

 

I do 100k gross on every load on 6 axles total…. But no oversized or real equipment…..

How much is oversized. Just curious I haven’t had a legal load since 2021

 

It was .50 cpm with .07 for o.d. guess it's come up some now.
