Does anyone have any idea how you can get a low oil pressure fault code and check engine light on a Kenworth with a Detroit 60, but at the same time the oil pressure gauge shows normal pressure?

Gauge is manual gauge or uses KW supplied sending unit.

Might want to check that out quick.
To make certain your crank bearings are not getting poor lubrication.
But @spsauerland is more than likely right.

I had one do that many many years ago. If I recall correctly, there are 2 seperate systems. A sensor for the ECM and an old fashioned plastic line to the mechanical gauge. If your gauge is reading right, it sounds like the ECM's sensor needs replaced. If I remember correctly, it's on the drivers side, just above the starter. (Or that's where I think it was on my 12.7, not sure if it's the same on a 14.1)

    Most likely it's the sensor.
