The only certainty in trucking is the uncertainty. Having grown up around truck driving and worked for truck drivers I know this all too well.
Thanks for the help I'll pull his pay stubs out and get it figured that way.
Kinda dumb ? Re: figuring income

Just talk to his recruiter and he/she will be able to give you a good estimate of his projected yearly income!!!!
(just to be clear, that comment was intended to invoke a good laugh because a recruiter would never lie about how much money we'd be making, right?)Drivers girl, KW Cajun and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Lol yeah we won't even go into what he was told yrly income would be. That's been the only thing I still doubt from what he was told. Especially after joining this group.blairandgretchen Thanks this.

If you get your figures from a recruiter, you'll need to either buy a calculator that goes up to six figures income, or a electronic BS detector.
Much safer to just buy the BS detector.

As true as it is, the problem is if they run a check for a credit card or a loan, they can't look at wages he is going to make but what he already has made.

It seems like she is trying to find affordable insurance since her husbands is so high. I'm not sure how the obama care thing works, but I'm sure if you over estimate you may have to get the expensive insurance. So I would under estimate. If they say something about it later you can tell them he started a new career, and was only basing it on his first few months checks.

Drivers girl Thanks this. -
estimating pay for truckers is a bit hard, also his first year it might go up quickly depending on the company. Now if he has made little then go apply for medi-cal! I was accepted for medi-cal during the first several months since my income was pretty shotty. You can go check out your states website for the Obama care as well and see what is offered, I have to do the same here shortly since im making a lot more now.

I thought the entire insurance thing went off the previous year's gross adjusted income.
