You can have a rider but they must complete form and you pay for rider insurance

 

FFE paid me close to 50 a mile back in 2001, KLLM new package would make it look like we are regressing.

Trucking should have gone past the .50 barrier towards say .70 a mile by now.

 

That form clears the trucking company of any liability should rider get injured or killed. It is literally the rider's own ### and risk in that truck.
