I had read about some of Mr. Simone's past experiences but hoped he was going to do things differently this time. A few months into his career here, I now have doubts. Cliff and Joe Palmer still being employed along with hiring what seems to be an inexperienced VP of Operations are some of those doubts. Those decisions don't seem to be in conjunction with long term success. After reading the latest news this morning, I think that the board is interested in the proposal but not at $9 per share. They rejected the offer because they felt it was too low, not because they aren't interested in selling. The way I see it, the negotiations have begun and both sides are playing hardball. But it's the beginning, the seller wants to sell at the highest possible price and the buyer wants to buy at the lowest possible price. That's how negotiations usually start. My opinion is that they will work it out and get a deal done before the end of the year.

Maybe you don't but it sounds like there are a few who do. Why don't you want to work for a successful company?

It would be easier for you to just go work there or do you already? I make a decent living here and don't know too many drivers that can say that about knight.

We feel bad for you USA drivers, hope everything works out for ya, make sure you keep money in your pocket just in case something happens. You may need a bus ticket to get home. The board put themselves in this position the first year cliff started losing money, and the funny thing is he kept losing money year after year !!

Is everybody packing their bags again at USA? :biggrin_2559: If anything does happen, it will be somewhere before Christmas. Then there stocks will plunge. That's my two cents. Keep your fuel tanks full. Be Safe

They may be successful on paper but they are no better than USA to work for. They have the same drivers, some good some would have to get better to suck, I see just as many #### trailers there as here. I know too many people that work and have worked for knight. There is a bunch of ######## there the same as any company. I know for a fact that the deal with drivers and trucks assigned to certain terminals that can't get any work done at other terminals is pure bull shyte. I get my truck worked on at any terminal I want. Thanks but no thanks. I know the brand of bull shyte here and don't need to see if another brand smells any better

    J_FROG and Thomas0810 Thank this.
