Knight terminal in Lakeland is vey small ,just an office with a dusty parking lot . If you haven't committed yet I suggest the reefer side, more miles and friendly management plus if you get a twic card you'll be going to Port Manatee alot to load bananas and melons and you can take your 34 at home if you get lucky. I have over a year in with Knight and I do alright . My in-laws live 6 miles from Lakeland Term. so I try to get there as much as possible.

well you'd be working out of lakeland which is ok. personally I'd love to work out of there. There's no shop but you'd get lots of miles on the reefer side,if you decide to go to Knight Reefer let me know, believe me you could do a lot worse.

reefer only ,i drove over 100k mi in 11 months and problems with truck kept me sidelined for 6 days. management is completlely different, rarely if ever have to look for a trailer, trucks are new and in good shape trailers are new and newer, getting rid of older ones. ive never been to nyc, been thru it a couple times but only on my way up to mass. if you decide you want some more info, get some questions together and i'll answer them truthfully and get you a phone number to call .im going back this week, been off for surgery.
