Young drivers, please get with it. We live in a dangerous world.
Tonight I'm walking out of the Mexican restaurant right by the TA in council bluffs, IA...
Soon enough a loud pick-up truck approaches with 2 white guys decorated in facial tats... ( I'm white 2 )
They pull up asking can they use my phone???
LMFAO... NO...
They musta recognized right away, I'm on shoot out status, so 2 trucks over, little Signh, is topping off his washer fluid, his dumb butt gives them his phone... OMG....
Crazy, they fly off with his phone.
Just understand everyone that's in a deep hole in life flocks 2 a truck stop. Hold your own.... SOOO many shady people on this life....
Walk with your head UP with authority... Please don't fall victim...
Know your surroundings in this dangerous world.

What's next? You're going to tell me the door knocker in Jackson, MS isn't actually spending my 20 dollar bill on gas to get to the hospital in Memphis? I've helped her out 5 times now. Her mom is on her 5th kidney transplant in a year. Sad situation

I was parked at some crap hole truck stop once and this girl knocked on my door in the pouring rain. “Please let me in, I just wanna get out of the rain!”
“No, but you can go into that store right there. It’s not raining in there.”
“Huh????” Walks away into the rainy night. LOLLav-25, JonJon78, hope not dumb twucker and 5 others Thank this. -
Doesn’t matter if I’m in my Kenworth or my Silverado, when I pull in I’m examining the whole area.
Lot of bums around, and a Truckstop is no exception. Uncle Lester always told me, see them but don’t see them. In other words only see them out of the corner of your eye, don’t look at them, that immediately opens the door for them to approach you or start a conversation.
On the other hand, some are decent. Couple weeks ago I was finishing a business call when I pulled into a station driving my Silverado. Put the truck in park and while finishing the call a stranger walks up to my door.
Sir I hate to bother you, but I’m really hungry and just need a little something to eat. I looked at him and he looked like hell warmed over as aunt Winnie use to say. I told him if he wanted food to go in the convenient store and pick out what he wanted and I would pay for it, but I will not give you any $$…!!
I walked in and told the clerk which was Mike, hey that cat over there… I’ll pay for his food, and I did. Guy came out of the restroom just as I was leaving and thanked me again…..JonJon78, hope not dumb twucker, dwells40 and 11 others Thank this. -
