I was gasping at the 800 a week
For what it's worth, I've leased and now own my own. Nothing like a title in your name and monthly payments over weekly. If I had it all over to do again, I would have bought a glider. These emissions trucks are something else. Schneider leases are not walk away either. You're locked in. That was a deal breaker for me last year when I got approved for one. Too many things can happen and change.
Knowing What You Know Now, Would You Still Sign Up for Choice Today?

More than once in my life I've found myself in face to face situations with a couple of guys that have a problem with me. When one turns to another and says something about me, rather than directly to me, I know he's weak. It's a tell. He doesn't have the strength of character to speak to me directly.
I clicked on your screen name and went to the thread you were currently posting in. You were doing the exact same thing. Belittling the thread starter with insults, indirectly as that is your way, then replying to another poster who replied to you. In effect hijacking the thread:

You may have a lot of knowledge about the industry, and your tone suggests you are successful in that you make money. This has never been my measure of a man, and never will be.
This thread is not about leasing vs not leasing. It is about the current state of the Choice lease program. Since you are not a Choice driver, kindly stay off my thread.Canned Spam, 4mer trucker and T_TRUCKER. Thank this. -
My post was a general observation on the majority of lease purchase folks, and many in our society as a whole. Not directed at you. I don't know you from adam so how could i make an observation about you personally. Furthermore, i wasnt even speaking to you. I was speaking to tommy.
I completely agree that money is not a measure of a man. The topic isn't about how good a man any of us are. It's about business, period. Buying, or leasing, a truck has nothing to do about being a man. It has everything to do with starting a business. And the only measure of a business in terms of success or failure is the bottom line.
I apologize if my straight forward honest style offends you. But buttercup, if you think I'm harsh just wait till you are a business owner. Every single encounter you will have as a business owner will be based on cold as stone, no feelings involved, sound business decisions. Warm and fuzzy bunnies won't keep you in the black, nor will they keep other enterprises from bleeding you dry.Last edited: May 12, 2016

9 month waiting time to bring on your own truck , and it must be 2010 or newer....
Or rent one of there's ....
Do they have frieght to move , or trucks......
Something to think about.Canned Spam, Friday, Scott72 and 3 others Thank this. -
I can count 3 streams of revenue for SNI. 1. Government check for training students. 2 Movement of freight. 3. Financing. They really could care less who does any of it as long as the stream continues.
Looking back, Choice is a great program, but after years in all phases of transportation, executive greed will always rule your future.
I would not become an IC on Choice for the time being knowing what I know now. Poorly made equipment, poorly maintained roads, pathetic customer service, a joke box department, and manipulated freight rates. And TOTAL lack of concern from higher ups, Hmmm knowing this now, I would look for another profession. Thats my penny s worth of advice. Good luck in all whatever you decide to make of it!Canned Spam and workingklasshero Thank this. -
First of all, it is not "your" thread. Anyone on our site is welcome to post in it as long as they comply with forum rules.
Second, we don't tolerate attempts at dragging drama across threads. You would do well to bear this in mind.
Lastly, if you have a problem with anything anyone else has to say, we have an "ignore" feature available. Use it.
This goes for ALL parties concerned. Carry on. -

Judging by your poor attitude, you won't be around long, let alone in business. You shouldn't really spit on the guys/gals that can give you a ton of meaningful advice here. Then again, you sound like one of those know it alls who isn't going to listen to anyone anyway.Home_on_wheels and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
Someone wont be here very long...

For being on this site since 07 and not even 100 post lead me to believe just by your attitude and your mocking others that you're looking to start troubleHome_on_wheels Thanks this.
