I simply click the agent code, it brings up their location , name , etc. Also ‘affiliate agent codes’

Many have ‘sub agencies ‘ AKA pajama agents - think -

“Work from home and make X per week”

Easy. Access general load boards, cut and paste loads to LS board, try to pay the light bill every month.

It’s about as simple as everyone told me.

Offer real service. Be honest. Form relationships with good agents. 70% of the loads don’t hit the board. Specialize, or at least offer better than the next guy.

The nickel and dime thing - well, apples to apples compare it to own authority costs and then comment. On your own authority you get to write a $15k check every year for insurance alone, if not more. If paying via weekly or monthly installments has you irate, then , well, I dunno.

You make bank hauling loads off the boards with your own authority?

The San Antonio crowd - AUS.

Continued with OP’s mention of ‘nickel and dime’.

    ‘Tis all.

    I’m not that happy either.

The best truck in the world had a NOX sensor go bad last night but had the decency to not derate before we reached the sanctuary of the Cheyenne Volvo dealer. We will be contributing about $450 into the local economy but that’s a small price to pay for the honor of driving such an exemplary vehicle.

To help you out its not actually called double brokering. You have multiple brokers across the country utilizing the same lanes, broker boards, load boards, and customer companies. So it's not uncommon if you see multiple brokers listing the same load. Which ever load you click on, that broker will get the commission. Keep in mind each broker may have more or less pull with the customer and can get you more on the fuel surcharge or additional Compensation. Hope this helped you out.

The T680 we had was the worst truck ever. Cramped and loud and unreliable.
