Im not surprised. Anyone with eyes should understand that AB5 is a death knell for anyone wanting to be O/O etc in CA. Way to go CA!! when they screw up the soup they really screw it up.

All the big port cities eyeballing it.
Oregon & Washington state labor groups pushing it too.
Imo those raggedy port trucks leased on got a lot of eyes looking at them, due to emission stuff.

This will just encourage shuttle services to pop up that will take things across the line for a small fee.

California is like the miserable security guard that takes his anger out on everyone else rather than fixing his own problems . I would love to see a complete shut down on Cali freight

Easy. Along with company drivers that don't reside in CA and are exempt from whatever they are trying to push.

No that it's a bad thing. Maybe rates will go up when they start biting hands that feed them. :D

CA likes to shoot themselves in the foot. literally.
They banned the .50 BMG rifle because it might be used to shoot down airplanes.

What happened? The .416 which has a longer range and uses brass "eco friendly" rounds that will pierce AR steel. :D
