I got a 19in lcd tv today.. I don't want anything fancy, but i don't want it to fall over either.. I'm driving a KW T600 so I want to keep it in the cubby hole provided for the tv. Will the strap keep it from falling forward or backward? or is there some other way to secure it better without drilling holes somewhere? I have a few ideas, but I want to know what others have done. Thanks!

I built a frame for mine with plywood and 2x4's. I cut a piece of plywood to fit my cubby, then screwed some 2x4's to that. I used another piece of plywood to mount the TV to the frame using the screw holes on the back of TV. There some strap slits on the floor of the cubby hole. I drilled holes in the base plywood to match them and bolted it in.

I`m planning on making a holding bracket that will just hang on the door in my Pete 387...something that will clip over the top and maybe a strap for the bottom that wraps around the door.

I simply built a square box with one end angled towards me slightly to fit in the TV cubby and placed a wall mount bracket on the wood box. Secure the box with the TV straps in the cubby and then place tv on wall mount bracket.

I hang mine from the top bunk. Two 3/4" metal strip and 4 screws plus a small bungy cord. Took the strips and bent them "J", drilled four holes and hung it. Attached bungie to the strips and wrapped around vent knob. Time - 15 minutes. Cost 7 dollars. Works great and easy to remove.
