Have any of you guys tried the super single dollies? We have them where I work (OD) and I like 'em.

If people have not done this , it is unknown to them . Sure it will answer many questions .

Also, the LCV's aren't legal in all parts of the country.

That said, the info is still relevant to the job, so it's certainly worth revisiting.

I saw a poster on another thread looking for this exact information. Could be a useful resource for someone curious about pulling combos but mystified about how they work.

    road_runner and Mike2633 Thank this.

We have a new driver at our yard good guy, but he's not real sure of him self when it comes to building combinations. They told him today to go build a set of doubles and he didn't want to because he didn't feel comfortable doing it.

So it is probably a good thing for people to use as a resource.

So the bulk of the material is already here. I kinda want to revisit this since it may benefit people.

My plan is this... And hopefully @MACK E-6 or another mod might work with me on this cause I do feel this is important enough to tab out. But ideally have one "sticky" thread, but that specific thread will have direct links to all other sections. Each section will still be it's own thread but slowly move down the parent folder (and maybe have comments disabled) as new threads get opened up... but each thread will have links that will connect to the other threads.

So two areas I want to add are hooking a third back trailer when you are already hooked to doubles with a con on the back. I want to add pictures and diagrams on how to set everything up to hook rear most trailer with ease. The other portion is how to back a trailer with con and hook a second trailer behind you. This will all be advanced stuff.

I would like to add, towing a dolly in most states like you described is not legal. Most states require dollys to have breakaway protection. You have to hook the emergency line to the trailer, and use a dummy gladhand on the dolly emergency line. This puts air to the ram, and in the event you loose the dolly, the brakes will engage on the dolly. Other than that, well done!
