Does anyone know what this leak is? Ive been looking all day online i cant find it.
I just had this truck at the dealer for 2 months while they replaced the short block. When i got it back 2000 miles ago i had an oil leak cause they reused an old cam sensor without an o ring. Now 900 miles down the road coolant poured out. Looks as if its coming from the front of the egr cooler that attaches to the water pump. At least thats what i think those parts are.

Looks like a lot of coolant has been slung by the fan. Have you verified it's not coming from a loose clamp?

I dont believe its the fan, I spent hours looking at everything and it looks as if its coming from the circular tube that faces down from the egr cooler to the top of water pump. If i turn on the engine for a sec it starts pouring out of that tube. I added some more pictures.

I see it, you have same problem as I, first picture is the leak on the air disecant , black cover. It leaks from the weep hole. The fix is inframe. I hear someone mention radiator sop leak.

You say he needs an inframe, on a short block that was just replaced? I'd be PISSED if I was the OP then.

I am all for "DIY" That it the main purpose of this forum. In this case, find a shop with a pressure tester and have them find the leak for sure.

I would make a bee line right back to the shop that did your engine work.

It was a gasket that the KW dealer put on there when they did the short block. I took it to a rush truck center they took apart the egr cooler and replaced the gasket.
