Leave for orientation at Roehl the day after tomorrow.

The test was not a big deal. There are six of us and there were two trucks. Three of us on each truck. We did a pre-trip split up between the three of us. Then we took off and Chris our orientation instructor drove us to a truck stop up the road. He pulled it in and then we each got our turn driving for about 10 or 15 minutes. We started by going up the highway and then through a few side streets. Remember that if you come up on a bridge, know what the height is. The bridge we went under had the sign way up in front of it. By the time he asked me, I could not see it. I missed it when the second person was driving too. I finally saw it when the third person was driving. We basically just went around in a large circle and then back to the truck stop. Then we went pack to the terminal and we each had to back the truck and trailer in between two trucks. It was not hard and we all made a few mistakes, but as long and you do not get in a wreck or hit anything or do anything illegal, you will pass.

 

Well,
We are all sitting here waiting for our drug screen to come back. Two guys in the class are being sent home until Monday, one guy is going out with his trainer today and three of us are going back to the hotel and then back to the terminal tomorrow to wait on out trainers. Whispers, I do not have your hubby. I don’t think anyone in my class do. These sure are some nice trucks.

The internet at the hotel has not worked for two days. I am at the terminal right now just waiting.
