Hey OP!!! Do you have his number? $2800 is a steal for a fan replacement. And if you ever move to Mississippi, our daycabs have sleepnumber mattresses in them. I have to certify that my sleep number is 48 every day on my E-logs. True story!

 

So let me get this straight. You don’t have a mattress in a day cab and you left without a fuel card? Where did you expect to get without having a fuel card? I smell a troll.

 

I occasionally did shop work to trucks without explict authorization. The problem becomes yelling because the company shop is then liable to pay the T/A bill or whatever. They have to pay it as owners. (Threaten to take it out of my pay though...)

Truck does not go anywhere until bill is paid. It's that simple. Except the yelling.

 

Day cab no matress and trucking without a fuel card with winter coming on is tantamount to suicide.

$2800 is double what a fan job would cost lol

 

I think you can get a “fan” job downtown for $20.

 

Is that with or without the shop fee?

 

No shop fee, they come to you and perform the work right in the alley behind the dumpster.
