Legal gross weight for a hopper trailer

new to pulling hopper bottom,,,,,,, scaled out 12240 steers, 35580 drives, and 32000 trailer....you can't move your
tandems ,,,so what do i do....please no smart remarks, learning

 

Where’s your 5th wheel set?
Dolly down to take weight off before moving said 5th wheel, you’ll have to stretch it out some to move weight off drives/steer.
Next time load about 1.5 feet more toward rear of trailer.

 

Brought [6] 1600 cubic foot to meet up with a chain conveyor and three drivers to a quarry with rail to help a contractor doing a Bentonite clay lining on a landfill expansion in Long Island where three 950 Cu Ft cement hopers and a small screw to off load the railcars.

As we were setting up the Wilson Machine they grabbed on of our trailers and filled it to the top.

Next morning they weighed it at the land fill...106,000#.

We told 'em to leave it down 15 - 18 inches...

From our railyard we needed to ship 48,000# to 49,000# each time to strip the pharma grade resin in 4 loads using a fruehauf aluminum 1600 cu ft vacuum and green R Model mack...We often had to blow some back to get under 80K
