Sadly this Federal Marshal myth is so ingrained in the trucking world I doubt this person is trolling.

Moving forward from now on its best to ask the place of business if you can park there during your brk.

you are/were on private property. just because there were no signs, doesn't mean you can do as you wish.

did you even buy ANY fuel??????

the local cops could care less your elog BS. when TOLD to move, you move, better yet, in the future, do not park on private property. getting yourself arrested is an all to real situation for one, disorderly conduct, trespassing and possibly fired by your employer especially if your truck gets towed away and impounded.

ignorance is not bliss, it's things like this that tick off people like the land owner, and he could care less too your consequences.

i feel for you though, when your time is done for the day, but here it comes, PROPER trip planning. you should have been looking for a legal parking area about 30-45 minutes BEFORE your time was up.

i had to call the Marshal's once. the truck stop i was at, ran out of hot dogs. a SWAT team descended down ropes from the blacked out helicopter and swooped in and saved me from starvation and made the truck stop employee's apologize profusely!!!

Sometimes these spaces are where the underground tanks are. One of the most frustrating things is going out and waking up a driver because a tanker is trying to make a delivery. I learned early on NEVER park on or near a fuel tank fill connection.

If there's anything I learned from the Bundy clan out in Nevada and Oregon, it'd be that land is yours and you have every right to be there. You need some friends, some guns, and some horses and you should be able to complete your 10 hour break.

I was sitting in the old Atlanta TA maybe 2 or 3 years before it closed. If anybody knows this place they know about 10PM most evenings they closed most of the restaurant except for about 6 tables. I was in my 4 wheeler that night and went in to get a late dinner. During my time in there a black male wearing a light blue windbreaker came in and sit down. Ordered food and sit quietly. Another guy started in on how he got a US Marshal to shut down the East Bound Scale on I 20 that afternoon. I sit and watched that guy turn in his seat and listen to the guy spin his tale. He sit and let the guy finish then asked him a question. The question simply was when you called the office did a male or female answer the phone. He said a female answered the phone and what was it to him. I will never forget it when this guy pulled out his badge and said he was the duty officer most of that day and would have been the one to answer the phone. This other guy was out of the place in about 5 minutes. All of us were laughing at him. I could go on with this subject but don't really want to hijack the thread.

Can we have them dispatched for Corndog checks? Seems some of the PFJ's forget to keep them out and ready.
