    Of course.

Private property, Law trumps driver. Driver leaves or is prosecuted for (Arrested potenitally) for trespassing to start off.

    Park carefully.

These days if anyone see Marshals, it's generally at the end of a armored shield and arrest warrant coming through the door.

Stopped to get sleep, should have made it further down the road but when sleep sets in I stop at the first place that "looks" legit, I'll push myself in this situation next time and get to an actual truck stop

yeah, i know, we all get that sleep demon.

as long as the next time you do not take for granted open space. too bad some places do not allow truck parking, but in the end, many drivers ruined it for the rest of us by leaving trash, pee bottles, etc.

^^^^that's the most logical thing to do, but for some reason nobody bothers to do it. Then they complain when they get booted or their rig gets towed. Seems like every few weeks there is a new thread on this, and it's always the same story... "how can they kick me off their own property? no one said I CAN'T park there so it must be ok." Lol

Come on drivers, just walk your butts in the store and ask. I have parked in non-truck stop filling stations before, never had a clerk say no. I would just go in, politely ask if I can park overnight and where do they want me so I'm out of the way. Works like a charm.

P.S. Same goes with wal mart. I have found that most of them will still let you park there if you just ask first.

Common Courtesy seems to be lacking in today's society

You could also just drive put something in remarks about being g run off and restart your 10 or even Personal Conveyace and just drive back in the morning to the same location
