Your best course of action is to contact the DMV with your inquiry.

 

Call the Sec of State’s office/DMV, on Dirksen Pkwy, in Spfld. They’re very knowledgeable and helpful, when it comes to CDL’s.

I had some slight issues moving back from FL and they got me lined out with everything I needed to know and bring. I brought everything I needed, the customer service clerk knew exactly what to do, and I had zero issues.

Is it normal for your state to invalidate your CDL after one day? No, it's anything but normal. Ask the state and keep asking the state. We cannot answer for the state and your record is not viewable to us, but the state has access to your record. In my experience the state sends letters and those letters from the state say things. What does that letter say?

 

I've heard Swift drivers having had their licenses invalidated the day after they signed on with Swift. The DOT stated that being hired on as a Swift driver showed that they were no longer valid CDL holders.
