I didn't mean the cost of the fuel was on you for them having to send someone out to fuel your truck. If I see mine is going to be at a quarter tank before I get to the designated fuel stop I am calling to get fuel somewhere before that happens. Couple weeks ago it looked like it was going to be close on me having enough fuel to reach fuel stop called em he told me where to go to get 50 gallons, pretty easy process for a minor issue

Always the drivers fault again. Not everyones fuel guage works. Mine didn't work. They couldn't fix it. They are incapable of fixing something of that nature. But I'll take the blame. I don't mind.

Both valves are in so I dont think that was the problem. The problem might actually be a little more complex than a fuel guage or valve. For some reason it will only run off of one tank until that particular tank is refilled and then it stops running off that one and starts using the other and vice versa. So, I dont know if Im running off of one tank or not. Maybe if one tank gets low enough it will start using the other but that doesnt sound right to me.

Possibly a bad fuel pump, vaccume leak, clogged filter or line. Many many things could be causing it. Even.though it may be new somethings still break or just don't work. Stay on maintenance to get it fixed. Probably send you to a dealer for this one. Especially if its under warranty

Even if the guages don't work, you should know how much fuel you have. I'm in my third truck with bad fuel guages and have never run out of fuel in them. I simply keep track of my fuel purchases and miles driven. The only time I have run out was when I was away from the truck on vacation and the icon r stayed on and rand the tanks dry. Wasted 160 gals idleing. Would have been cheaper to let the batteries die and pay for a jump.

Yes, you can do that. But if they expect you to keep up with all those figures with no fuel guage. Not happening. The truck gets topped off when fueled. You have weight variances. Mileage is not always the same. You put 50 gallons in and the guage doesn't move. Oh No. That's not simple. Especially in cold weather. Truck gets topped off.
