You know how in our own personal vehicles we go to the gas station and only put 5 or 10 dollars in? Will doing things that way help me save on my gas expense for my own car every month?

Exactly:: Besides they want you to log 15 minutes on duty for fueling. They are about to change the rule again. You can't take a 34 restart except after 168 hours or something like that. We are really going to have run tight on our 70. We will have to take a 30 minute break somewhere in our 14 everyday. I will just take the 30 switching out my demountables. Log it that way. I really don't have to worry about the 34 rule. I get weekends off.

I don't hugely mind the new system. Sure it sends us to what used to be out of network stops now, but the qc msg said the network was being expanded anyway. My only gripe is minor in its way... The route solution miles add up to more than paid miles. It's always been that way though so I can't complain.

Just use (un)common sense. If you can be more efficient by going a couple miles out of route and saving yourself and the company money/time...do it. I haven't changed my routines at all with the new system, exception being I try to use the suggested fuel stop where intelligent.

I still top the tanks at known in network places if it makes sense. Haven't gotten a complaint from anyone yet.

My buddy, that went back to USA told me this past week.....someone called him in upper management to see how things are going on with him...yada, yada....said elogs will be implemented within the next year! I know some of you are on the "test" with them...how do you like them? Honestly, I REALLY like it....you don't get hassled by DOT. At least, I don't!

Dont see what that had to do with the problem I had though. B/D said my transfer pump is out and I will have to be routed to a terminal for repair. I guess they are able to get the ECU codes over Q/C. I'll just be on one tank for a while since Im all the way out in Buckey, AZ.

Mr Klatu things are just that simple. If someone doesn't like how their company operates or has problems with their policies then why stay with that company? Their are thousands of trucking companies to choose from so out of those thousands im sure there is one that would be just perfect for them.I have never stayed at a place where I didn't like working. It blows my mind that so many people on this forum hate working for Usa Truck and gripe and complain about everything related to the company but yet they don't seek employment elsewhere

    Woopigsooie Thanks this.

Unhappy with certain situations does not mean unhappy with total work expierience at a company.

I am still torn on the no apu thing. Its working ok so far but its not hot yet. Wait until I go three weeks without shutting the engine off because its 90+ degrees all the time. The idle percentage is going to be high. Ill give more feedback then.

    Sent from somewhere out there
