New to driving and for the two months I've been drive I know I don't want to stay regional and I'd rather do the same thing or close to it everytime I'm out so I'm wondering if there is a such thing as a long haul dedicated run. What I'm looking for is a run that keeps me out all the time and is a long run. Like for example I am stationed in indianapolis IN with Schneider and I would like to go to Arizona or new Mexico or cali and back and do that as the dedicated run. If anyone could give me some insight and how dedicated runs work and if its possible to get a run like this dat be awesome. thanx.

Dedicated runs primarily like you think. But are not usually that long.
If you want consistency, stay local. With beverage distribution, furniture delivery, trash haulers and the like. -
I am pretty sure CTI in Columbus IN. Has shuttle teams that run west to east. -
Navajo does coast to coast runs.

i run green bay to LA and back

Might be able to find one from Midwest to Laredo and back. I've talked to some guys who drive for PAM at a shipper I go to often who do that. They seem pretty content.

Very possible to get something like that. There are lots of company that shuttle coast to coast freight using teams and solos. Indiana Western Express (IWX) does that. Don't bother even looking for something like this with Schneider. They use predictability and home time as reasons to cut your CPM.
