You mentioned Averitt. They seem to have a bevy of local or regional jobs. They have terminals everywhere. I've never came across a disgruntled Averitt driver, but every company has ambassadors and complainers. They have volvos so that may help being vertically challenged, especially since they have the shorter hood. Besides most companies are running autos it seems

Stay away from any and all Dollar Store accounts with ANY trucking company. All of those accounts require superior backing skills. Newbies are trained to never back. Dollar Store accounts are almost a guaranteed backing accident, perhaps a few. Being new, with accidents, and getting fired is not something to volunteer for.SweetnShort Thanks this. -

The vertical challenge bit might cause issues though. At 4'11 you probably need an automatic, or you will have some fairly significant issues fully depressing the clutch to activate th clutch brake.
It sounds like the truck you are training in works for you though. Is it a T680? If so, most T680's will likely work for you just fine. -
Clutch brake.. Thats a luxury item in the 1099 business.
