    HI all...

On Sunday Feb 10th a trucker was involved in an accident in Southern California on the I15 by the Bear Valley Road exit. (Hesperia)

We aren't sure why or how, but a friend's boyfriend was on foot on the I15 and was hit by several cars, and lastly - a semi. He may have tried to commit suicide - or got clipped while walking along the side - no one is ever going to really know. Sadly, he leaves behind a girlfriend and 4 children and we are currently raising funds for his burial....

Anyway - I'm trying to locate the trucker involved - total long shot because I don't even know the trucking company he was with. I want to make sure HE is okay. Hitting someone, even if they probably already are deceased - has to be insanely traumatic. I want him to know that no one on our side of this places any blame what so ever on him...the coroner makes it very clear Gerald was pretty much a pinball before anyone reported it. If I can give this poor man some peace of mind if he is in any way troubled by it - I'd like to be able to do that.

If anyone has ANY information....please let me know. If you have any interest in donating to help cover costs and set up long term funds for the children, I'll be happy to provide that information.

Thank you so much for your time.

    A long time truckers wife....Meg

My thoughts to the families involved. That is really terrible. Deceased or not, if I would ever strike another human, I'd be done driving.
