I'm coming up on my 1 year of experience with my current OTR company, I stay out 3 to 4 weeks at a time. Looking for a good regional or local company close to Burlington, nc. Could somebody please help me with some local or regional carriers. Home time is the main thing then pay, shooting for daily home time but weekends would work also.

Check Cardinal Logistics. It's part of Greatwide or visa versa. I know drivers working for them that make over a thousand a week. Some home every night. Maybe they have some accounts in your area.

Yea I checked with them to but they don't have anything right now. Appreciate it. Is gas hauling a good field to get into?

Yea I would consider Epes but I just can't run 62mph any more. I do OTR now at 63.5 now lol. It is a hazard at times running that slow

Ashley furniture has a facility in Advance. Their drivers are compensated very well and home every weekend.

Ok I appreciate all the feedback, I'll check out Ashley Furniture. Yea I heard Epes is pretty good, long as the home time is there I'm willing to put up with the slow trucks. Is food service worth it since you have to unload the truck yourself
